Taphophilia is a love of all things related to cemeteries, mausoleums, crypts, and funerary objects.

Myself and many of my friends enjoy taking day trips to some of the more interesting graveyards we know of. In the past I used to write up reviews and trivia about the places but these days I prefer to let the pictures speak for themselves.

One write up stands out though- the Todd-Merriman cemetery trip in 1995. It was on this night visit to one of Maryland's most peculiar gravesites that I met my wife Leigh.
